The Parler Social media platform was relaunched in 2024 under new ownership after many years since it's orchestrated shut down in 2021 by Big Tech. This time it poses a serious threat to the existing data/privacy profiteering social media industry thanks to a business model that shares earnings with users directly, rewarding over 18 million users for their engagement (at the time of writing). And thanks to a fully vertically-integrated technology stack, Parler can't be shutdown from being a threat to Big Tech, like it was shutdown in 2021 for protecting freedom of speech.
